TwEECer Info     How it works

As you add performance parts to your ride, you’ll find a point where the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) will require some performance modification as well.  Having the ability to modify the calibration of the EEC to fit your performance modifications is an option that was once only available to the “Pro Tuners”, There is only one EEC-IV product that can provide the information that the EEC is basing its calculations on and do it in real time, the TwEECer RT
With Four custom calibration locations to use with your setup, you can quickly make adjustments at different levels and fine tune to your hearts desire. The TwEECer gives you the ability to flash four independent calibrations and switch between them while the engine is running. An excellent feature if you want an Economy/Performance option, NA/Nitrous option or 87/93/race gas octane options. Using the first available (default) custom calibration spot for a “kill” or “valet” switch is a VERY nice added feature.  You can completely disable the car or you can set Rev & Speed limiters.

If you sell your 89 Mustang GT and get a 2003 Cobra, no problem, the same TwEECer will tune ANY EEC that we support. The factory calibration is always left untouched and can always be used as a fall back. This allows the user to begin with a completely un-modified binary file when needed.

The TwEECer comes with CalEdit, a very user friendly and simple to use for making adjustments to your calibration.  If you have stroked your motor and have 377ci instead of 302ci, change the Engine Displacement (SARCHG) parameter and the EEC will correct the surging caused by the VE (Volumetric Efficiency) calculation error due to the change in cubic inches.

The TwEECer now supports more than 5000 EEC processors, covering approximately 80% of the vehicles  Ford manufactured from 1996 through 2004 and many 1984 to 1995 (US & Canada).
